for our Ninth Annual Spirit of Hope Celebration!
Each year, Cancer Support Community Central New Jersey (CSCCNJ) holds a Spirit of Hope Celebration. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness of the programs and services that Cancer Support Community offers; to publicly acknowledge an outstanding member of the community who has helped ensure that individuals affected by cancer are able to receive psychosocial programs that complement their medical treatment; and to bring together members of the oncology community, as well as members of the general community, to support the efforts of Cancer Support Community.
At this event the Nancy and Marty Dowd Spirit of Hope Award is given to an individual(s), organization or corporation who has made a significant contribution to ensure that those in our community who are affected by cancer can enhance their health and well-being through participation in programs that offer support, education and hope.
